Slim-Fast
If you don’t like counting calories or cooking, then Slim-Fast might be for you – at least for a short period of time.
Slim-Fast ranked well when put up against other commercial diets. The plan includes two shakes or bars per day, along with three 100-calorie snacks and a 500-calorie dinner of lean protein and vegetables.
“If you’re looking for quick, short-term weight loss, this is the perfect diet,” one expert said. “It takes all the ‘thought’ out of weight loss. You just have to drink the shakes.”
At the same time, that is not necessarily a good thing. The diet can quickly become boring, costly and doesn’t really teach dieters how to eat properly for a long-term weight maintenance.
This diet rated 3.2 out of 5.0.

Good point! Yes, I agree on the idea of diet that “this MUST be a lifestyle change”. If you just do the crash diets it’ll only result to some sort of disease. Thanks for sharing posts like this and making more people aware. 🙂
I like the part “With your new eating habits, you can eat everything – really! – but in smaller portions and in moderation.” This is very true. It does take time though to shrink your stomach so you won’t feel hungry all the time. Here is a great program I found that lets you eat anything you want, and you only have to do a slight workout 15 minutes per day.
Also, where was the Special K diet? It wasn’t on the list.
If the diet wasn’t on the list, it’s because it didn’t make the list as most effective. There are soooo many out there!
