The Zone
The Zone diet dictates that all meals be arranged according to the following ratio: 40 percent carbohydrates, 30 percent fat and 30 percent protein. Following the Zone takes much planning and research to get it right so many dieters need the help of a dietician in order to shed the pounds.
However, the Zone diet isn’t as restrictive as Atkins so if you don’t want to feel deprived of some of your favourite foods, this diet may be for you.

Good point! Yes, I agree on the idea of diet that “this MUST be a lifestyle change”. If you just do the crash diets it’ll only result to some sort of disease. Thanks for sharing posts like this and making more people aware. 🙂
I like the part “With your new eating habits, you can eat everything – really! – but in smaller portions and in moderation.” This is very true. It does take time though to shrink your stomach so you won’t feel hungry all the time. Here is a great program I found that lets you eat anything you want, and you only have to do a slight workout 15 minutes per day.
Also, where was the Special K diet? It wasn’t on the list.
If the diet wasn’t on the list, it’s because it didn’t make the list as most effective. There are soooo many out there!
