After the Bachelor finale aired Monday night, the question is, who did Ben choose?

Ben Flajnik chose model Courtney Robertson over down to earth Lindzi Cox!

Did Lindzi or any other bachelorette for that matter, even stand a chance?

Ben fell head over heels with Courtney right from the very beginning, despite the red flags and warnings from the other girls in the house.

Is there even any point in watching considering there are tons of spoilers?  Reality Steve posted photos of the final rose ceremony and posted on his blog; reports that Courtney and Ben already split have been made; and even sightings of Ben with another woman.

Courtney herself flubbed on The Women Tell All show, saying “I cared about Ben, I still do”.

But, in the After the Rose show, we hear the truth from Ben and Courtney as to what really happened following the taping of the last episode.

Courtney explained to host Chris Harrison that they were doing wonderfully as a couple for a month following the taping of the final episode and were engaged.  But once the show starting airing, Courtney’s behaviour with the other women made Ben upset.  He “abandoned” Courtney, and while she tried to reach out to him, he didn’t respond.

She wasn’t even wearing the ring when the After the Rose show started, likely a Bachelor trick to increase the drama.

Ben had a chance to speak, in between tears… he was upset that their beautiful moments were spoiled by everyone around them.

If you were curious to know, Ben and Courtney are still together and still engaged.

As for the other woman Ben was seen with?  Old photos that the tabloids got their hands on!

So there you go!

O, Woe is Me!

The Bachelor Women Tell All was an entertaining, hilarious social experiment of what happens when a bunch of women get together and fight over one guy.

This season of The Bachelor has left me scratching my head:   #1 why Ben?  #2 What’s up with Ben’s hair? And #3 Oh girls, really?!?

Ben Flajnik’s hair could have its own show;  it really isn’t a fabulous look for him anymore.  Maybe back in 1993. In Europe. But he seriously needs a hair makeover.

My friend Rita made me laugh when she posted this photo on Facebook:

Inspiration for Ben’s hairstyle?

Ok back to the show!

Yes I watch The Bachelor because it is mindless entertainment.  If these girls choose to go on the show and date for all to see, I say watch and enjoy!  For those of you who say it’s a waste of time to watch, I am a multi-tasker so I do write and tweet at the same time, ok?

After watching the Women Tell All, one thing’s for sure – girls can be mean.  And I mean that both ways – the girls against Courtney and vice versa.  Not to say that Courtney didn’t have it coming to her.

Courtney made the show exciting but she offended almost everyone in the entire house with her snarky comments.  Finally, the other women had their say and went on the attack, demanding an apology from Courtney who ended up crying as she exited the stage.

My Facebook friend Sonya brought up a good point; no one mentioned Courtney’s behaviour might have something to do with her insecurities.  When someone lashes out like that, it is to make themselves feel better.  Perhaps Courtney was bitchy towards them because she felt threatened by them; a pretty simple explanation for her behaviour.

People were also mentioning her “dual personalities” on the show; well maybe Courtney is bipolar… you never really know.  I think the Bachelor needs a psychologist on hand to talk about the women’s behaviour on the show.

Ben also faced the women, which was quite dull and boring, as the rest of the season… But when they aired some random moments, it was just what the show needed – a break from all the “woe is me” drama.

Emily put it best; she said she wouldn’t want to be with a guy who would use the words “tread lightly”.  Yeah that’s an asshat for ya.

There is a spoiler going around about who Ben will ultimately choose but I don’t want to reveal it here… I think Courtney slipped up at the end of the video (below) when she said “I cared for Ben… and I still do.”

Who do you think he will choose, Courtney or Lindzi?

Here we go again! Another season of The Bachelor has started and everyone is talking about it.

The Bachelor premiered on ABC Monday night and the women going all out to impress Ben Flajnik.

One gimmick after another…

First it was one bachelorette wearing an enormous hat… Holly, a 34-year-old pharmaceutical rep from Kentucky, who tried to impress the Bachelor by wearing a huge Derby hat to let him know what her hometown is known for: “beautiful women and fast horses.”

Then,  Anna, the 25-year-old student from Detroit came out of the limo, said nothing at all and walked right by the bachelor!   “That’s a bold move. That’s awesome. Gotta be some kind of first,” Ben said.  But sadly, Anna did not receive a rose.

Another surprise of the evening was Sheryl, 72, who got out of the limo on crutches!  Was she competing for the Bachelor too?  No – her granddaughter Brittney, a 26-year-old medical sales rep from Denver, was in the race to get a rose.

So who went way over the top?

Lindzi, a 26-year-old from Seattle, rode in on a horse!  Of course, she made “Bachelor history” with her grand entrance… she also won the first impression rose.

There was already lots of drama in the house as Jenna, a 27-year-old blogger from New York, spent most of the evening crying.

There appeared to be a couple of Bachelorettes hooking up too!  Yes – Monica Spannbauer was making moves on a fellow contestant, Blakely Shea, rather than Ben!  whispered to Blakely, “You’re beautiful, you’re amazing,” and asked for her phone number.

Never a dull moment!
