The kitchen is the heart of the home, the main hub for families to eat, entertain and talk. Our home is open concept so our kitchen, family room and eating area all flow from one space to the next. Which means everyone is hanging out here – all the time. It’s nice sometimes because we can all be together while dinner is being made, but sometimes it can be a little claustrophobic!
It’s our first home and although we have already created so many special memories here, I hope it’s not our last. I love my home but I feel that we have outgrown it as a family.
My current kitchen just doesn’t offer enough counter space or storage. I’ve been dreaming about what my dream kitchen would look like and inspired to create a Pinterest board on the various styles I’d love. Although I’m a sucker for crisp clean white, I know realistically my kitchen would look a tinted beige not long after. How does one keep up with white cabinets?! French Country and Tuscan style are probably more along the lines of my dream kitchen.
If we were to every stay in this house, I would definitely renovate the kitchen!
