Jennifer Hudson has lost 80 pounds and is now a size zero. Has she gone too far?

The star transformed herself by becoming a spokesperson for Weight Watchers in April 2010, eight months after giving birth to her son, David Jr.

She initially dropped from a size 16 to a size four through diet and working out for regular workout sessions with personal trainer, Harley Pasternak.

But now, Joy Behar on The View revealed that on a recent shopping trip, she bumped into the actress and overheard a salesperson tell the Dreamgirls star she was a size zero.

Joy Behar said that she saw the singer out shopping and eavesdropped on her conversation with a sales clerk, who remarked that Jennifer could fit into a size zero dress.

Joy recalled she asked Jennifer how it felt to be the much coveted but controversially small size.

‘I feel like they’re talking to someone else,’ she replied.

This past January, 5’9” singer said she felt like a different person.

“Instead of saying I lost this or that, I [say I] feel like I gained 10 years of my youth back,” she told USAToday. “I look 10 years younger.”

She also recently said: “Being skinny, it’s a job. It’s not easy…I feel this responsibility to the world now – people are watching, so I have to keep going in the right direction in terms of my weight loss.”

gwen stefaniThree cheers for the following five celebrity moms who are making a big difference, according to CelebrityBabyScoop!

From donating to the relief efforts in Japan, to advocating for children’s literature, to building an all-girls school in Africa, take a look through our slideshow and read about five celeb moms who are giving back and making our world a better place.

Gwen Stefani:

The original Harajuku Lover, Gwen Stefani, is the latest celebrity to donate to the relief efforts in Japan.

On March 23rd, the mom of 4-year-old Kingston and 2-year-old Zuma donated $1 million to Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund to help with recovery efforts in the devastated nation.

I’ve been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture,” Gwen told Us. “The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years.”

In addition to her donation, the No Doubt frontwoman is also encouraging her fans to contribute. Next week the L.A.M.B. designer will unveil a limited edition Harajuku Lovers T-shirt through nodoubt.com. All proceeds from sales will go to help in relief efforts.

Sandra Bullock:Sandra Bullock

Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock was one of the first celebrities to dig deep into her pockets to help with the Japan tsunami relief. The mom of 1-year-old Louis donated $1 million to the important cause.

And that’s not the first time she’s helped out after a natural disaster. She was also involved in the disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina.

Half of my family has a deep-rooted connection to the South and Louisiana, and, for me, New Orleans is one of our most precious, historic communities — visually, emotionally, artistically,” Sandy B told Vogue.

madonnaMadonna:

Madonna – mom of Lourdes, 14, Rocco, 10, David, 5, and Mercy, 4 – has taken on a new project. A big one! The global impact she is making with her multi-million dollar all-girls school in Malawi, Africa is immeasurable.

The Queen of Pop talked about her latest – and most important – project in the country where her youngest children originate:

“Growing up in a privileged life, I took education for granted…but coming to Malawi has taught me a lot of things and (I have) learnt to appreciate what life gives. I realized how much they deserve to be educated and so for me the best thing I could do was to build a school, a unique school that will create future female leaders, scientists, lawyers, doctors and if this school is successful it will be used as a model to replicate it in other countries.”

jennifer garnerJennifer Garner:

We all know that Jennifer Garner loves books! The Alias star and her adorable daughters – Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2 – are often spotted out and about at carrying books.

So it’s no surprise the Emmy-nominated actress has been a longtime advocate for education and literacy in children.

There is so much unmet potential. The cycle of poverty in this state has gone on for generations, and we hope we can provide a new energy to help the kids reach their true potential and avoid that,” she told the Charleston Daily Mail. “Literacy is the most important thing you can give a child. If you can teach them to read, they can do anything.”

Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie:

Not only does she adopt orphaned children from numerous impoverished countries, Angelina Jolie also helps empower others in need. After a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti last year, Angie sprang into action. The mother-of-six and UN Goodwill Ambassador made an official statement after the disaster, encouraging people to give to SOS:

“SOS has been in Haiti for over three decades, now raising over 300 orphaned and abandoned children and caring for 4,000 more impoverished children and families to help prevent child abandonment.

That was before the earthquake. Now the needs for orphaned children are almost incalculable. SOS has been pulling resources together to provide temporary shelter for unaccompanied children, safe areas for mothers, and food, medicine, trauma counseling, and reunification programs for families and children.

SOS was there before the earthquake, and during it — but most importantly, SOS will be there for many years to come — to raise these children, in their communities until they are self sufficient adults.”

Gwyneth Paltrow had post-partum depressionDespite being a successful actress and married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow suffered from post-partum depression after her second child was born.

“I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect,” Paltrow, now 38, says in the February issue of Good Housekeeping.

“It was terrible, it was the exact opposite of what had happened when Apple was born. With her, I was on cloud nine. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t the same. I just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person.”

How did she realize it wasn’t just the baby blues, a postpartum mood disorder than many new mothers experience?

It was Paltrow’s husband who first thought she might be suffering from something much more.

“About four months into it, Chris came to me and said, ‘Something’s wrong. Something’s wrong,’ ” Paltrow recalls. “I kept saying, ‘No, no, I’m fine.’ But Chris identified it, and that sort of burst the bubble.”

Paltrow says the hardest part was acknowledging the problem, something I think many new mothers can relate to.  Approximately 10 to 15% of women suffer from postpartum mood disorders (PPMDs).

“I thought postpartum depression meant you were sobbing every single day and incapable of looking after a child,” she explains. “But there are different shades of it and depths of it, which is why I think it’s so important for women to talk about it. It was a trying time. I felt like a failure.”

Now that her son is two years old and Apple is four, Paltrow is back in the saddle and starring in Country Song.

Why did it take her so long to come out about post-partum depression?  I think for many, it’s still a taboo subject.  But I’m glad that the actress has revealed her struggle with post-partum depression and is so open about it.  I hope this will allow other women to feel like they are not alone, and that even a Hollywood actress can suffer from the same issue.

Here our are top three choices for Hollywood moms who have it together, and three who could use a little help (or a lot).

Have it Together

Angelina Jolie

Juggling six children, an actress and humanitarian, how does she do it all?  Not only is this Hollywood star gorgeous and married to hunk Brad Pitt, Angelina seems to be a fabulous mother.  Always seen with her children, she is definitely a hands-on mom to her kids along with their dad Brad.  Seems like the perfect Hollywood family.

Reece Witherspoon

Reece seems like a normal mom, taking her son shopping at sporting goods stores and to and from soccer games.  Despite her divorce from Ryan Phillippe, they both have an amicable relationship for the sake of their two kids, Ava and Deacon.

 Gwen Stefani

Just look at this photo – is this not the coolest family?

Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale know exactly how to be a pretty normal, down-to-earth family. Together they have two sons, Kingston and Zuma.

Gwen has put her career on hold since No Doubt’s reunion tour ended last summer to concentrate on being a hands-on mom, but recently she’s reportedly been back in the studio.

A mom of 8, it’s going to be really tough for Kate Gosselin to find a new boyfriend/husband. Who would be a great husband to Kate and a good step-daddy to  her kids?

Bret Michaels

He recently told CNN, “I’m a really active dad” to his daughters.  “We get the motorcycles out, we play ball, we swim, and I’m like, ‘Listen kids, hurry up, man. I may lose another organ.'”

He maintains a sense of humor despite a frightening period where he suffered an appendectomy, a brain hemorrhage, a ministroke and the diagnosis of a hole in his heart, all within the last four months.

The star of his own reality show “Rock of Love” and singer of the 80s hair band Poison, Brett earned much respect for competing and winning his year’s season of “Celebrity Apprentice”.

Although Bret isn’t married, he has a girlfriend.  But without the ring on her finger, anything is possible.  We think Kate and Bret would look great together.

David Duchovny

David checked into a rehab center for a sex addiction in 1998.  Several months later, he and actress Tea Leoni announced their separation. Together they have a son and daughter.  Could Kate keep up with his sex addiction?  Who knows but we thought it’d be fun to pair the two.

Jake Pavelka

Ok so he’s not a dad.  But Jake Pavelka is a media whore.  First on The Bachelorette, then as The Bachelor, Jake then went on to star in Dancing with the Stars.  His public relationship with Vienna has been a train wreck from the start.

Now we hear rumors that he’s auditioning for other acting jobs.  Obviously he loves the attention and the cameras.  If he hooks up with Kate, he will undoubtedly be in the limelight for the long haul.

Colin Farrell

Irish actor Colin Farrell has a string of popular flicks under his belt. And while he’s a big hit at the box office, Colin is also still a hit with the ladies.

Irish actor Colin Farrell was voted “Hottest Single Celebrity Dad” in a poll conducted by dating Web site PerfectMatch.com back in 2009.

Colin has a great relationship with his son James, who has a rare genetic condition.  What makes Colin so much more attractive is the fact that here is this wild guy who shook up Hollywood with his good looks and partying ways, and now we see him a gentle father who is responsible and a nurturer.

Brad Pitt

Although he and Angelina Jolie seem as strong as ever, if they ever decide to split, he’ll know exactly how to juggle raising a handful of kids!
