I have been asked to write an essay, 400 words or so on what makes me “HOT”. I was hoping to get away with writing an in depth, journalistic masterpiece on the effects of menopause on sea monkeys in space, because that would be a whole lot easier. I looked “HOT” up in the dictionary and it can be used as an adverb, adjective, verb, noun and a ton other things, I have no clue what they are, this did not help.
The term “HOT” is relative, I think George Clooney is “HOT”, others may feel the same about Carrot Top. If the defining factors of “HOT” are perfect breasts, abs of steal and a butt-ox you can bounce a quarter off of, you can count me out.
“HOT” for me is a state of mind, and in a few years a hot flash or two I am sure…If “HOT” means FINALLY being happy and content with who you are and celebrating it, then I am “HOT”. You only have one life and one body, unless you’re Heidi Montag because she bought a second one. I don’t plan on wasting it away wishing I was thinner, richer or blonder, we all know how well that worked out… Hair Drama…
It took me four children and many years of “Wishing I was better” to get to the place I am now in my “HOTNESS”. Confidence is key, own it, work it, life is your runway…Oh now that is a bumper sticker for sure…
Before writing this I asked my husband if he thought I was “HOT”, he said yes. Still, because I tend to obsess now and then, this answer was not enough. So I reworded the question.
“If you didn’t HAVE to sleep with me…would you WANT too?”
The answer was still…YES…’nuff said…
