My little ‘ole blog started as a blogspot blog, to a self-hosted blog created on Publisher (yes, can you believe?!), and graduated to a themed WordPress powered website.
amotherworld has attracted so many wonderful opportunities, and allowed me to connect with a multitude of talented people. I’m forever grateful and proud of the success of blogs, which gives anybody the opportunity to express their voice on their own small yet powerful slice of the internet.
While I am thankful for self-publishing, I’ve always wanted to have my book(s) published by a traditional publisher. So you can imagine my excitement to share the news that my first non-fiction book will be published!
“The Truth About Motherhood: What They Didn’t Tell You… About the First Year” will make its debut in September 2017! My book will be published by Familius, a boutique family-focused publisher based in California. As soon as I made the pitch, I felt like I had found the right home for my voice, and my book, which will be the first in a series!
Time to pop the champagne… er, open that bottle of Pinot Grigio rather, and have a toast!
Now, back to writing!
