The holidays are the most wonderful time of the year but they’re also the most hectic! The greatest stress for me is shopping with crowds and long check-out lines.

I visited the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique at Yorkdale Mall for a preview of what Avioners can enjoy while holiday shopping – VIP holiday shopping in style!

The RBC Avion Holiday Boutique offers many services, free to Avioners, including:

Valet parking
Coat and parcel check
VIP lounge and café
Concierge services
Gift wrapping service

You know how crazy it is to find parking during holiday shopping hours so valet parking is a definite bonus! I find it cumbersome to shop comfortably wearing a heavy coat so the coat and parcel check takes a real load off. Shoppers can sit down in the swanky VIP lounge area with a cup of coffee, while the kids take a break from walking the mall. Visit again later once shopping is all done and get your gifts wrapped with the free gift wrapping service!

If you don’t own one of the Avion credit cards or Avioner Passes, you can still access the gift wrapping and coat/parcel check services, provided they pay the set fee established by the mall for these services which goes to charity anyway, so win win!

New to the Avion Holiday Boutique this year is the RBC Rewards display which features some of the most popular items from the RBC Rewards catalogue. Visitors to the Boutique can nominate someone to win one of the items from the display in the “Not-so-secret Santa” Twitter contest. To do this, they take a photo of a product featured in the display, themselves in front of the display or of the Boutique and use the #AvionVIP hashtag along with the product hashtag and post to Twitter.

What a nice way for RBC to thank Avioners for their loyalty and to help turn their shopping visit to a VIP holiday shopping experience!

When you go to Yorkdale, you’ll be impressed by the number of high-end stores – can you say drool? Here is a complete list of stores in Yorkdale – I’m telling you, you will gasp at the new additions – Jimmy Choo? Versace? Oh my word! I would go a little crazy shopping if I could and would splurge at Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, All Saints, Ted Baker, Tory Burch, and Michael Kors.

Other shops to check out – and probably a little friendlier on the wallet! – are Vince Camuto, White House Black Market, Massimo Dutti, 7 for all Mankind, Anthropologie, Anne Taylor, kate spade new york, French Connection, Aritzia, Mendocino to name a few. You’ll likely find me shopping the most at Zara, Roots and H&M which offer fashionable and affordable options for you and your kids.
