There isn’t a place I enjoy more with the kids then the Aquarium du Quebec.

We often pack snacks and a picnic lunch and make a day of it.  The Aquarium du Quebec not only has 10,000 marine animals for the kids to enjoy but a picnic area, playground, splash pad and a ropes course (for kids 6 -12) as well as four different food venues.  It’s perfect for an afternoon outing or an all-day event! If you are visiting on a Sunday, why not book a table for their Sunday Brunch, then explore all the park has to offer.

Admission to the park is reasonable, but the best deal if you live in the area is the annual passport which gives you access to the park for a full year.  Within a couple of visits the passport pays for itself.  Plus with all the humidity and hot days we get over the summer, having access to the splash pad and air conditioned pavilions is delightful.

The recent addition of a new Stingray pavilion adds a new venue to explore and a chance learn more about our aquatic friends.  I haven’t checked it out yet, but my family has been anticipating it for the past two years as we watched the construction.

While at the Aquarium De Quebec make sure to catch the Walrus show.  The walruses will entertain you with their antics.  Who knows, you may even catch a kiss from one!
