On Friday, I attended a fabulous blogger event hosted by Minling Pan Studio and organized by Valerie Stachurski’s fabulous Charming Media.

Minling Pan Studio is a women’s boutique in Toronto’s Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood. You’ll find great fashion and accessories, mostly clothing from Hong Kong’s designer label A.Y.K. The studio blends retail with a personal touch – the owner Minling offers personal shopping, wardrobe audits and consulting services and seminars.

I was thrilled to have a colour analysis done during the event. After sitting with Minling, I discovered that I’ve been wearing the wrong colours for my skin tone… I didn’t know I was considered an “Autumn” and should choose warmer tones of clothing such as chocolate brown, rusty reds, corals and golds.

Of course I gravitate towards blues and greens but apparently they do nothing for me!

A chevron necklace I bought – love the bright colours for spring and summer.

In keeping with Minling’s advice, I opted for a red polka dot scarf and some rusted gold accessories.
