This Polar Vortex has been insanity! This past winter has been brutal – it’s been the second coldest winter in decades!

This winter has been difficult both mentally and physically. While we’d like to think we’re winter warriors, sometimes our immune systems start to crack… especially with constant -20 C temps!

    Rest and sleep as much as you can and when you are feeling up to it get outside even if just on the porch for a few minutes for fresh air.

  6. Eucalyptus Oil on the soles of your feet. Whenever my son feels stuffed up, I put some on his feet while he sleeps. He always wakes up better!

    Lots of rest, fluids, vitamin c and just lying low for a few days helps. I tried so hard to will it away, but this year has been a doozie!

    Lots of rest and plenty of fluids! You need to stay hydrated to flush out the nasty cold or flu!

  18. Vitamin D is great for keeping colds away but if you catch a cold then OJ popsicle’s are a fun way to help

    Plenty of rest and fluids..and of course some good chicken soup won’t hurt either!
