This year was a big one in terms of celebrity scandals. Who was the biggest celebrity douchebag of 2010?

Tiger Woods:
When news broke about Tiger Woods cheating on his wife, Elin Nordegren, multiple times, in 2009, we knew their marriage would be over. But the numerous women, call girls and porn stars, that came out of the woodworks continued on into 2010. Tiger ended up in sex rehab in January 2010. We still wonder why Tiger would even cheat on the gorgeous Elin? They divorce was finalized in August of this year.
Jesse James:
The shocking news that Jesse James was cheating on Sandra Bullock with a stripper and a bunch of other women made Bullock’s filing for divorce the least shocking split of the year. Just after Bullock won the Oscar, she announced her split from husband Jesse James, who admitted to cheating on her! She shocked us again by going forward with her plans to adopt a baby. Luckily Bullock was strong enough to make it through this awful time and come out triumphant.
Brett Favre:
NFLer Brett Favre had allegedly sent raunchy voicemail messages and lewd photos in 2008 to Jenn Sterger, a former New York Jets employee. The father (and grandfather!) was involved in this huge scandal, and did not respond quickly enough to the allegations.
While the NFL was unable to trace the illicit text messages back to the quarterback, they fined him $50k for his decision to not voluntarily cooperate in their investigation. The fact that the messages were sent so long ago also played into the league’s decision to not suspend Favre from his final NFL game.
Favre is said to have admitted to leaving the voicemail messages, he apparently has not admitted to sending the photos to Sterger. Um, I’ve seen the photos… nothing to write home about, if you know what I mean.
Mel Gibson:
How many Mel Gibson tape recordings were there? We lost count. The rants with his Oksana Grigorieva were awful with the colorful language he used to describe the mother of his child! Gibson allegedly became violent, terrorized her, hitting her twice, choking her, and threatening her with a gun.
Gibson is currently under investigation for domestic violence, plus Oksana is also under investigation for allegedly trying to extort money from Gibson to keep the tapes out of the media. Grigorieva says she’s “severely in debt,” but also notes, “I’m standing up to a bully who is very rich and famous.”
Gibson was dropped by his agent William Morris Endeavor. His career was almost revived with a stint in The Hangover 2 but he was quickly canned after the scandal!
Tony Parker
It all started with Eva Longoria’s Tweet: “It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”
The story finally came out that Parker exchanged naughty texts with fellow basketball player Brent Barry’s wife, but apparently that’s as far as it went. “There was no physical relationship,” a source said. “It was just texting. He knows the texting went too far.”
Parker did have an affair in the early days of their marriage but said that there weren’t any other affairs that would be coming out of the woodworks.
Runners-up include John Mayer and Charlie Sheen.

You write like you were there when Mel Gibson allegedly did all those things to Oksana, but you don’t know what the truth is. Do you even care what the truth might be? Law enforcement has not charged Mel with assault–they may in January, but so far, they have not. So how about writing what you know: that Oksana claims he did all this stuff. She could have motive to lie or exagerate, don’t you think?
