These chocolate brownies are free of gluten, grains, eggs and dairy. Whew!  So rich and chocolatey, you won’t even remember what regular baking tastes like!

Ingredients

12 dates chopped
4 oz unsweetened 100% chocolate
1 cup almond flour
¼ cup tapioca flour
¼ cup grape seed oil
1/2 cup applesauce
1 cup coconut palm sugar
2 flax eggs = 2 tbsp water mixed with 2 tsp flax seed and let sit for 5 minutes
¼ tsp baking power
½ tsp sea salt
½ tsp vanilla
¼ cup walnuts (optional)

Grain Free Chocolate Brownies



Directions

Melt chocolate with oil and add dates. Remove from heat, add sugar and rest of ingredients. Pour into a parchment paper-lined square baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Let cool. Store in the refrigerator.
