“Little fishies,” my kids used to say when they were little. They were referring to Goldfish Crackers, the cheesy puffed crackers that come in cute fish shapes. I’d always have a sandwich bag or small container of “fishies” in my diaper bag or in the car.

Today when my boys come home from school, they’re hungry and looking for snacks. Cheddar cheese cubes and Goldfish crackers are still one of their popular requests – and an easy snack for kids. I’ll put them out and we’ll gather around the kitchen table where they will tell me about their day. I love hearing them talk about who they played with during recess, what they learned and all the other goings-on at school.

Their enthusiasm is contagious – how can you help but not smile when you see their little faces lighting up when they share their stories? These are the smile worthy moments that parents hold near and dear.

Baked with real cheese and without artificial flavours or colours, Goldfish crackers are an easy and fun snack for kids. They are coloured naturally with annatto, from the seeds of the achiote tree and beet juice (Princess crackers).

  1. I’d like to create my own mix by adding them with chocolates, other crackers, all sorts of nuts, and popcorn.

  2. Those little gold fish “floating” above the cheese cubes are so cute. I just wanted to write this.

I love those things right out of the bag and in my mouth… a side of cheese and grapes is pretty tasty with them.

We don’t do anything fancy, its the kids favorite snack besides ice cream!

  5. Oh, and I like to eat goldfish crackers just by themselves. Or maybe added to a salad for something fun.

  6. DD likes to eat them when having a ‘tea party’ with her dolls.

We like to eat goldfish crackers just plain by the handful and often on the go – we always have at least one snack cup full of them in our diaper bag! We just bought a bunch of the small bags for our flights at Spring Break, and we had fun trying the different flavours as a snack on the plane.

  8. We like having ours right out of the package, and with some cheese
