What’s in style for spring 2015? You’ll see a throwback to the 1970s, gingham prints even grandma will approve, culottes, florals and denim.
What’s in style for spring 2015
70s
Every season, a specific decade takes over the runways and it seems the 1970s are the trend this spring and summer 2015. But don’t bust out the bell bottoms quite yet – the pieces are subtle. You’ll see a lot of denim and some flared and wide bottoms.
Safari
I love this look for spring 2015 and it’s actually quite timeless. So while it’s “trendy” this spring 2015, the safari look is a classic style. Chic khaki trench dresses, poncho coats, fern prints, and camo-inspired pieces have an upscale aesthetic. This dress is from Top Shop.
Denim
Does denim ever go out of style? No way. This season you’ll find the versatile fabric in culottes and flares, like this pair from Zara.
Boho
Think long lines, loose flowing silhouettes and lace accents. H&M has some trendy styles.
White
What could be more fresh and airy and scream warm weather than head-to-toe white?
Fresh Florals
Florals are always fresh for spring so I’d say they are a classic staple in your wardrobe. But make sure the prints have a modern, not grandma, touch. Try an all-over print on a dress, top or maybe even pant.
Pastels
Pastels are always welcome come spring time but rather than wear in a top or dress, try a pastel moto jacket or trench, like this one from White House Black Market.
Yellow
Add a pop of yellow to your wardrobe this spring. Pair the bright hue with an equally bold colour like blue or purple for a cool contrast.
Gingham
This classic print is trending once again. Keep the look flirty and fun in a gingham skirt, like this one from Modcloth. Look polished with a ladylike handbag and Peter Pan collar to complete the look.
Culottes
The super wide-leg, cropped pants may seem daunting but you they are easy to wear. Rock them with a pair of heels and crop top, if you dare, or with a fitted top and cute flats.

Some really cute options! Looking forward to seeing what is out in the stores!
i never know what’s in style until it’s too late so I need info like this real bad. I love the 70s look and that floral top is really cute, but it’d need to be longer for me. You really made me want to go clothes shopping now!
