Want a thick smoothie but thick enough that you can eat it with a spoon? Then I have the recipe for you!

I like smoothies but sometimes I want to enjoy a cold treat without all the calories. Plus I’ve found a yogurt that is almost lactose free and I can buy for just $3.99 and doesn’t bother my tummy.

Here’s my recipe for homemade “frozen” yogurt – because you actually don’t freeze it!

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1 cup mix of frozen strawberries, mango and peaches

1 ½ cups yogurt (I use a lactose-free or almost lactose-free yogurt; organic too would be best)

Directions:

In a food processor or heavy-duty blender (I use the NutriBullet), add ingredients together. Blend until smooth. The frozen banana and fruit will make the yogurt texture like a soft-serve frozen yogurt. Serve immediately!
