The holidays are quickly approaching! This is the time of year when we’re all a little busier shopping for holiday gifts for loved ones. Aeroplan Donation Program
Since 2006, the Aeroplan Donation Program has been helping hundreds of Canadian not-for-profit organizations. Aeroplan and its members have donated over 1.1 billion miles to Canadian charities that help improve lives and assist communities locally, across Canada and around the world.
Donated miles are accumulated and used to offset air travel costs for charities, volunteers or for families with medical or other emergency travel needs. In addition to travel, miles are also used by the organizations for hotel stays, car rentals, merchandise such as laptops and even raffles to help raise money.

Aeroplan will match
From December 2 – 8, 2019, Aeroplan will match all miles donated to the Air Canada Foundation up to 500,000 miles! Through its Hospital Transportation Program, the Air Canada Foundation helps sick children reach medical treatment not available in their community allowing them to receive the best medical care possible.
One-time donation
Feeling extra charitable with your Aeroplan miles? Aeroplan Members can make one-time donations and can also choose to automatically donate 2% of all miles accumulated during each transaction to a number of charitable partners. Members interested in donating 2% of their Aeroplan Miles can simply visit their profile page on aeroplan.com, select the donation opt-in, and the partner to which they would like to donate their miles.

Good luck with all that. Aeroplan and Air Canada aren’t even answering their phones, or let you book/cancel flights or redeem points. Maybe you should check the customer service fiasco that’s been going on for weeks before you promote something that cannot be completed. Just saying.
