The holidays are not about receiving but about giving back. This holiday season, support women’s health and a hospital foundation by downloading a song on iTunes.

Women’s College Hospital Foundation has teamed up with Avril Lavigne to create a remix of her song, “Keep Holding On” featuring the voices of Canadians across the country. The remix has been released on iTunes for just $1.29.  The proceeds from every download go toward supporting Women’s College Hospital and the future of healthcare for women.

“Keep Holding On” is a powerful ballad but with the additional voices, brings the song to a higher level.

You’re not alone

Together we stand

I’ll be by your side, you know I’ll take your hand

When it gets cold

And it feels like the end

There’s no place to go

You know I won’t give in

No I won’t give in

Keep holding on

‘Cause you know we’ll make it through, we’ll make it through

Just stay strong

‘Cause you know I’m here for you, I’m here for you

There’s nothing you could say

Nothing you could do

There’s no other way when it comes to the truth

So keep holding on

‘Cause you know we’ll make it through, we’ll make it through
