I’ve been craving donuts (or doughnuts) for a while now… so I’ve been looking to make a gluten free and dairy free donut that has the same texture as a regular donut, but baked so it’s a healthier version. So I’ve tweaked a basic donut recipe and present you with these Easy Baked Gluten Free Maple Donuts!
Easy Baked Gluten Free Maple Donuts
Ingredients
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup almond flour
1/3 cup sorghum flour
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 coconut palm sugar
1/4 grape seed oil
1/2 cup almond milk
4 tablespoons maple extract
Glaze
1/2 cup coconut palm sugar or icing sugar
1 tablespoon almond milk
1 teaspoon maple extract
Method
Combine flours, salt and baking soda in a bowl. In a large bowl, beat eggs with sugar. Add oil, milk and maple extract. Add flour mix and stir until smooth.
Grease a 6-donut pan like this non-stick donut pan; spoon mix into pan.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes, then remove donuts from pan and cool completely.
For glaze, mix sugar with maple extract and almond milk. Spoon over donuts. Makes 6 donuts.
Enjoy and try not to eat just one!

DEFINITELY pinning! As a fellow GF-er, I have tried a couple gf donut recipes from Babycakes but they didn’t really hit the spot and the texture was a little too …thick? These look delish. Can’t wait to try!
These look so hearty and yummy! I’ve been a GF/DF donut kick lately too and just added two new ones to my blog too 😀 Tis’ the season for donuts.
What a great treat! can’t believe they are gluten free!!
Yum! I’ll definitely need to try making these. Love gluten free baking options!
I love doughnuts but have never made them at home. The frying part is a little intimidating. This baked version would be a great recipe to make for my friends who have food sensitives as well.
