Is your child an athlete? Does he or she love sports? Then this contest is for you!

Under Armour and Sport Chek are on the search for the next 2018 Team UA NEXT athletes. The second annual Team UA NEXT powered by Sport Chek is to find the next generation of Canadian Under Armour athletes!

Seven to 12-year-old hard-working athletes are eligible to compete to become the face of Under Armour in a brand campaign at Sport Chek stores across Canada. The winning boy and girl will join the elite roster of Under Armour athletes, and serve as a youth ambassador for the brand. In addition to being featured in the brand campaign, winners will receive exclusive access to Under Armour gear.

All you have to do to enter is submit videos of your kids participating in sports on www.teamuanext.ca. In the video, showcase your child’s passion and athletic ability! Your young athlete can show Team UA Next exactly why he or she be the next Under Armour athlete.

What will your sporty child showcase in their video – their competitive edge? Perseverance? Tenacity? Submit your video before August 31, 2017, so you have all summer to create a video that will compel the judges on why your child should be the next Team UA NEXT athlete.

The current Team UA NEXT Canada Powered by Sport Chek campaign features eleven-year-olds Brenden McLeod of Newmarket, and Maya Rajhans of Etobicoke.  Brenden is a hockey and lacrosse player, and Maya is a basketball and soccer player. They were chosen because they had the right mix of determination, passion, teamwork, and WILL.
