Discovery Channel’s Emmy®-nominated series, MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition comes to life at the Ontario Science Centre this summer.

In MythBusters, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman take scientific investigation to new levels by proving or busting myths using their highly experimental approach and extensive backgrounds in special effects. The co-hosts of the show were heavily involved in developing the MythBusters exhibition to ensure visitors experience a true MythBusting encounter.

The result is a hands-on, interactive experience for guests of all ages by combining popular scientific facts with innovative, family-friendly displays. Visitors will see gadgets, props and blueprints from the MythBusters’ television stage set, and learn how to test myths using the scientific method by participating in a series of fun, hands-on experiences and live demonstrations. Experiments cover topics such as flight, friction, gravity, speed and combustion.

In addition to the exhibition, visitors will get an extra measure of MythBusting when Ontario Science Centre experts conduct daily live experiments, delving into a world of explosions and chemical changes to explore the difference between science fact and science fiction.

Tickets are on sale now at OntarioScienceCentre.caMythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition closes September 13, 2015.
